This course will provide managers and supervisors with the skills to use their leadership techniques that engage employees to contribute more, adapt quickly to everyday changes, stressors and how to create and maintain productive working relationships. Participants will evaluate various types of performance appraisals, and learn to set objectives relevant to their direct reports through the use of SMART goals. Managers will also learn how to conduct terminations/layoffs professionally, compassionately and legally.
